“Sizing Down - Taking the Terror out of Transition”

The process of preparing employees during a major layoff – both those who are leaving and those who stay behind - is a daunting HR and management responsibility. Understanding the traumatic effects on employees, their families, the community and the business is only the beginning. The Financial Services SIG is presenting a workshop that will prepare HR professionals to assist both groups by learning the steps that can make this an exciting forward looking process where everyone wins.

Barbara A.F. Greene, a local San Antonio expert in Career Transition will share the experiences of companies nationwide, including what she has learned about leadership, compassion, change management, business evolution and hope for the future. Barbara is the founder and CEO of Greene and Associates, Inc., an organizational resilience company. The company website: http://greeneandassociates.com/. She is a published author who is also recognized as a Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation and has a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s degree in education.
