Profile: Domingo Vara Chevrolet

Back in 1974 when Domingo Vara entered the car business as a sales consultant, he knew he had found his calling and from that day forward would work torwards his dream of becoming an auto dealer. With hard work, determination, many sacrifices and his family's support that dream became a reality in 1990. With a small staff of dedicated co-workers the dealership opened in January and has enjoyed much success since then.

In 2001, Vara Chevrolet moved it's Military Drive location to it's present location on the access road of I35 south just pass South Park Mall. While GM felt the best place for a new location was on the north side of San Antonio, Domingo Vara refused to abandon all of it's loyal consumers on the south side. Today, with a total of approximately 95 employees, Vara Chevrolet continues to grow thanks to the hard working staff members and it's loyal customer base. Our goal to grow our organization can only be achieved by finding hard working, self motivated passionate people who have a love for the car business.
