POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides full range of respiratory care services to patients of the University Health System. Provides care to any age group from neonatal to geriatric as evidenced by the skill/competency check-offs. Ensures the prompt and proficient provisions of respiratory related duties in accordance with physician directives. Complies with departmental and University Health System's policies and procedures and maintains good public and working relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care. License in the State of Texas required. Will accept new graduate for registry program with no experience except for clinical school experience. Graduate Therapist must obtain their RRT within 6 months of employment. Must be ACLS Certified.. If working in PSCU\NICU must be certified in PALS and NRP.
