Job: Manager Income Tax

Responsible for all coordination of international tax filings with outside tax preparers for NuStar Energy LP and NuStar GP Holdings LLC subsidiaries. To include review of tax packages required in order to prepare the international filings. Responsible for maintaining E&P calculations for NuStar entities. Responsible for the annual transfer pricing study for NuStar Energy LP’s foreign subsidiaries. Responsible for all international, federal, or state income tax or franchise tax audits. Responsible for the Texas Margin provision and tax return calculation. Monitor both domestic federal, state, and international new and proposed tax laws and be able to quantify affect on the company. Assist in due diligence project both international and domestic and any other special projects. Ensure maintenance of international tax calendar for income tax group. Works independently and efficiently. Manages personnel and processes well. Identifies issues and resolve problems.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree and/or CPA is preferred. International and corporate and FAS109 experience preferred. Must have experience performing tax research using tax services such as CCH, RIA, BNA, etc. A minimum of ten years experience in tax is required, preferably in public accounting or a similar industry/corporate environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required because of interactions both inside and outside the tax department. Personal computer knowledge of Excel and Word is required.
