Job: Manager Design

Job Description Responsible for design direction and leadership to insure in house and outside firms conform to applicable specifications/standards, cost effective designs, safety concerns and regulations. Manage multiple capital projects with regard to design and project schedule. Responsible for developing and administering departmental activities related to long and short range planning and design.

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or similar discipline required. Minimum of 10 years design experience. Equivalent education and related experience will be considered, in lieu of design experience requirement. Prior supervisory experience desirable. Thorough knowledge of Pipeline and Terminals principles and practices. Thorough knowledge of computer and Cad programs. Ability to plan and supervise the work of in-house and out of house design personnel. Ability to speak effectively and to explain Pipeline and Terminal design policies and to express ideas clearly and concisely. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. Possess field experience related to pipeline and terminal facilities. Skills in the use of surveying instruments desirable.
