POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include transplant-related patient contracting and managed care contracting for the purposes of increasing patient revenue and funded patient mix. Actively pursues new opportunities with third party payers of health care services to include contract negotiations, contract management and financial/market analysis. Identifies and obtains new opportunities with third party payers or specialty networks of transplant services including letter of agreement or contract negotiations, letter of agreement tracking, payment/financial analysis and coordination efforts with transplant operations staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in business or healthcare administration is required. Masters degree in business, public administration, marketing, healthcare management or related social science is preferred. Previous experience in contracting for transplant services is required.
