Job Summary
Under general direction, is responsible for performing administrative professional work coordinating projects and activities between various divisions, departments, public agencies, and private sector representatives. May exercise supervision over professional and administrative staff.
Essential Job Functions
* Monitors projects, sets deadlines, schedules meetings, analyzes issues, and provides recommendations;
* Implements, monitors and evaluates new programs;
* May assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget;
* Prepares written reports and presentations on project progress results;
* Works to ensure coordination between divisions within the department;
* Organizes and prepares written summaries of project reports and action plans in a timely manner;
* Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Job/Driving Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Business, Public Administration, or a related field;
* Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in public administration, finance, business, or a related field;
* This position requires a valid class "C" Texas Driver's License or obtain a valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License within thirty days after becoming a resident of the State of Texas;
* Use of your own personal vehicle may at times be required and proof of liability insurance will be required;
* Substitution Ratio: Two years of related experience may be substituted for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience;
* ANY APPLICANT SELECTED FOR EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO MUST RECEIVE SATISFACTORY RESULTS FROM PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTING, REFERENCES, BACKGROUND CHECKS AND CREDENTIAL VERIFICATION. ADDITIONALLY, EMPLOYEES IN SENSATIVE OR HIGH RISK POSITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO INTERVAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE 49 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS, EMPLOYEES IN CDL POSITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTING.
