POSITION SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a member of the health care team implementing the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program. The NFP is a national evidence-based nurse home visiting program that improves the health and self-sufficiency of low-income, first-time parents and their children. The Registered Nurse registered works within the full scope of their licensure to implement the model of care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BSN is preferred. Minimum of three years nursing experience with experience in community health, educational or case management setting with emphasis on pediatrics and/or pre/postnatal care and infant mental health. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

LICENSURE
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Recognized certification in community/public health nursing preferred. Must maintain current Class C Texas Divers License.
