Job: Medical Assistant (Hematology/Oncology)

Medical Assistant for busy medical oncology clinic in San Antonio. Responsible for assisting physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a medical environment that may include oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, BMT or gynecologic oncology. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e. exams, procedures and patient education. Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones and maintaining physicians schedule. High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred. 3-5 years as a medical assistant in a hospital or clinic setting required. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current CPR certification required. Excellent oral and written skills. General PC knowledge. Well organized and be detailed oriented. Full Time/M-F.
