Management opportunity for Tax Specialist. We are looking for the right person to begin their career with us. For approximately 2-3 years you will work as an Assistant Manager working closely with our current Tax Manager. We are a small firm experiencing double digit growth each year. Our culture is comfortable and fun, with a great team of people to work with.
Our Tax Manager is responsible for supervising the technical activities and productivity of staff; developing and maintaining client relationships; ensuring customer service levels are maintained. This includes reviewing tax returns completed by staff and providing feedback as required; preparation of more complex tax returns; provide training and guidance to staff to ensure quality work product; perform tax research projects as needed; prepare client letters explaining recent tax legislation of importance to clients. Skills / Requirements
Candidates must be a CPA, have 7+ years of related experience, knowledge of various tax software; prior supervisory experience and knowledge of construction accounting preferred.
