Job Summary
Under general supervision, is assigned to Municipal Courts to assist in general administrative and/or research functions for the purpose of developing a working knowledge of a targeted area in municipal government. Typically has completed some advance course work related to the internship program. Exercises no supervision.
Essential Job Functions
* Learns about area of career interest by observing and assisting professionals in the assigned department where work will be performed;
* May assist in the coordination, administration and/or monitoring of specific programs;
* May assist with conducting research, collecting and organizing data, performing analyses and preparing reports;
* May propose solutions to existing problems and discuss recommendations with administrative personnel;
* Assists with special projects as assigned.
