POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides member information, education and assistance in utilizing any aspect of the health plan service, in person during orientation or by telephone. Provides solutions to problems and serves as a liaison between members, providers and interdepartmental areas. Identifies areas, which may need improvement. Ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) related policies in regards to all aspects of operations within Member Services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years college level work in business, health care administration or related work is required. Minimum of 1 year HMO experience is required; health care resolving experience preferred, clinical background helpful but not required.
