POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Information Services will provide strategic support for IT functions in the company. Manages the design, planning, and implementation of ITs short and long term strategies. Ensures alignment of IT services to the business goals and must be qualified on the design, development,analysis, and project management side of the business.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or related field with 5 years experience in data processing and an additional 5 years experience in a progressive management senior IT role. Experience with managing high transaction volume applications in a health maintenance organizations (HMO) is preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid and CHIP processing requirements required. Experience in external service provider management, project management, business process improvement, Quality Management Implementation, and IT Methodologies preferred. Experience and knowledge of HIPPA and standard code sets is preferred. Knowledge of Amisys, Amisys Advance and other similar managed care transactional systems preferred. Knowledge of Texas Medicaid transaction processing preferred.
