TAI is searching for a Project/Business Development Manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close. The ideal candidate has experience targeting and nurturing new and existing business relationships to grow the overall business with a background in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and is able to also support the general management and operations of a Service Center. Ensure the continuous improvement of quality, productivity, and financial performance. Analyze and correct problems that arise, and support team growth.


Research prospective accounts, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement

Collaborate with local Management to ensure that requirements are met

Maintain relationships with customers and identify new prospects

Analyze the actual performance of the Service Center in relation to submitted objectives and targets

Maintain excellent communications with customers

Manage employees and provide leadership for them

Monitors quality and productivity of Service Center

Summarize and analyze budgets and results with other management staff

Authorizes and monitors contract and order reviews

Authorizes and monitors quotes, and purchase orders of supplies

Ability to develop and evaluate work instructions, procedures, & training programs

Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve efficiency and/or achieve cost reduction.

Ability to manage an operation / warehouse employees. Capable of: holding responsibility for the operational direction, coordination, and evaluation of a Service Center, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and discipline employees; addressing. Responsible for promoting, training, evaluating efficiency and productivity, disciplining employees. Keeps records of subordinates, evaluates subordinates efficiency and productivity. Council’s employees with any complaints or problems. Plans, schedules, direct, and distribute work.

Required Experience


Must have Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university, Business or Engineering major preferred, with 9 - 12 years’ experience, including budgeting, planning and management experience.

Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
